My name is John Crawford and I am the man behind Crawford Custom Marine. I have been on and around the water my whole life, and working on boats has been my passion from an early age. I decided to take this to the next level when I attended New York Maritime Academy at Fort Schuyler and studied marine engineering. I then spent ten years sailing around the world on thirteen different ships. This career took me to some interesting places but taught me invaluable lessons about the maritime industry and engineering.
When I made the decision to start this company it was with one central idea, a passion for being on the water. But I didn’t want to compromise to have an enjoyable time, which is why I want to bring an unparalleled level of service and attention to detail to my customer’s vessels. I look forward to the opportunity to work with my customers every day, so that they too can enjoy the water safely and efficiently.

I specialize in taking my experiences working on some of the largest ships in the world and translating that to the recreational boating world of South Florida. The systems on the typical center consoles and cruisers in our area are no different than what the largest ships use to traverse the ocean, they are just on a much smaller scale. We ensure that you can count on the systems on your vessel, and work with you to provide a package where every time you step on your vessel you can be confident that everything is going to work - and look good while doing it!
